This degree curriculum focuses on clinical and policy interventions that promote wellness on the individual and community levels. Situated in a social justice framework, this curriculum emphasizes how structural forces impact psychological and social well-being, barriers to treatment, and inequities in mental health outcomes. Through courses, service-learning, co-op, and research experience, students synthesize theoretical knowledge with practical skills used when working with individuals across the life span and in multiple settings.
