Western Michigan University School of Medicine (WMed) and the Haworth College of Business of Western Michigan University (HCoB) cooperate in the delivery of a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration (Healthcare concentration) degree in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Both WMed and HCoB offer their existing MD and MBA degrees independently and cooperate in a manner that will permit eligible students in HCoB’s MBA program to incorporate coursework from WMed’s MD program. All degree requirements of WMed and HCoB are unaffected by the degree partnership program. Each program admits students, conducts graduation audits, and exercises control over its respective academic programs independently. Admission to either the MBA degree or the MD degree does not guarantee admission to the other program.
