The PhD in Curriculum Studies is an interdisciplinary degree that addresses overall curriculum issues across different subject matter. All three of our program options prepare you for careers as curriculum generalists, researchers and specialists university faculty and teacher educators K-20 curriculum and pedagogical leaders curriculum administrators, designers and evaluators curriculum material writers and educational leaders in social and cultural organizations.This doctoral program requires a minimum of 63 credit hours, including common core, research and inquiry, specialization, cognate area and independent research. You can choose from three program options.This option cultivates educators with self-reflexivity, deep understanding and capacity to create and use knowledge for the benefit of local, national and international communities. You will be prepared to be a K-12 curriculum leader, curriculum researcher and teacher educator or curriculum generalist for all educational levels.
