Research on the storage, production, distribution, and use of electric energy and energy storage systems conducted in our department will transform society and usher a new era of electrification and energy efficiency. Among our research activities are many advances in power electronics and drive Systems, subsea electrical systems, electric, hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles and aircraft, vertical take-off and landing, and flying cars, renewable energy, batteries, and microgrids.
