The Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in linguistics examines the history and structure of language. Students have the opportunity to study with distinguished faculty members actively engaged in scholarly research, and to gain practical experience through internships that prepare them for an ever-expanding variety of careers. The program also prepares students to continue their studies through programs such as ASU's accelerated Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and accelerated Master of Arts in linguistics and applied linguistics.
