Take an interdisciplinary approach as you study the culture, development, resources, history and societies of Latin America and the Caribbean, and Latino/a peoples dispersed around the globe. Participate in an innovative program designed to promote awareness and understanding of the many issues faced by the Latino and Latin American peoples of the Western Hemisphere. Learn from professors from several departments and with complementary perspectives, gaining a stimulating entry into the interrelated worlds of Latino America and Latin America. Contribute to and benefit from frequent and diverse cultural activities, such as film screenings and other events specific to the many cultures that make up Syracuse’s campus. Forge relationships across cultural differences and develop a global perspective by studying and pursuing internships in Madrid, Spain, or Santiago, Chile.
