As a student in the Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies dual master's program in corporate communication and business, you will be immersed in studies that combine two distinct fields, providing you with a well-rounded understanding of both communication principles and business practices. You will focus on the development and execution of effective communication strategies within organizations, including such finer areas of study such as crisis communication, stakeholder engagement and media relations. You’ll explore the fundamentals of marketing, including market research and product development, while also studying the psychology and sociology of organizations and various marketplaces. You’ll become an expert in financial principles, including financial analysis, budgeting and investment strategies, and explore case studies of the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including advertising, public relations and digital marketing.
