Biomedical Sciences students must meet the established admission, retention, and graduation requirements of the university and the College of Graduate Studies.All entering students should have a bachelor degree from an accredited university that includes the equivalent of a Biology minor with a course in genetics and a course in microbiology AND an 8 credit hour sequence in general chemistry and an 8 credit hour sequence in organic chemistry.Students must have a GPA (science and overall, inclusive of repeated grades) of 3.0 or 3.3 (science and overall) in the last 45 hours combined with one of the following exam scores that would be consistent with specific professional aspirations:Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores of 124/section and 500 total minimum;Dental Admission Test (DAT) scores of 17/section minimum;Physician Assistant College Admissions Test (PA-CAT) composite score of 510;GRE score of 302 combined and 150/section minimum.
