Students enrolled in the Master of Science in Civil Engineering (M.S.) program can choose to pursue the Smart Cities track, a unique program that is the first of its kind in the nation. With the knowledge and skills you gain from this degree specialization today, you can dream up, design and manage the cities of tomorrow. The curriculum emphasizes smart transportation, resilient infrastructure and technological applications in environmental engineering and water resources. Elements of the track will bridge some of the gaps with other disciplines (electrical engineering, urban planning) and open the door for students to collaborate on research and education that are relevant to the cities of the future.
