The Computing and Information Systems PhD Scholarship is offered to high achieving graduates of the University of Melbourne Master of Computer Science who are enrolling in the Doctor of Philosophy – Engineering and Information Technology in Computing and Information Systems.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a fortnightly top-up stipend at the rate of $20,000 per year (full-time student rate) for up to 3.5 years.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
Have applied for and met requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy – Engineering and Information Technology in Computing and Information Systems
Have graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Computer Science.

Your CV
Academic transcript for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies
Your research proposal
A personal statement addressing your leadership skills, commitment to personal and professional growth, creativity and innovation, and desire to contribute to society.
A letter of support from your prospective supervisor outlining their views on your potential to be an ambassador for the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
