HKU Technovation Scholarship shall be awarded to first-year undergraduate students if they:

obtain a total score of 36.5 or above in the five best results obtained in any category A subjects and the best among Mathematics extended part and any category C subjects and are admitted to one of the following programmes:

• JS6315 Bachelor of Engineering in Data and Systems Engineering [BEng(DASE)]
• JS6339 Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering [BEng(ME)]
• JS6353 Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering [BEng(CivE)]
• JS6377 Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering [BEng X + MScEng AIE]
• JS6602 Bachelor of Science in Innovation and Technology [BSc(I&T)]
• JS6901 Bachelor of Science [BSc]
• JS6925 Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering [BEng(BME)]
• JS6937 Global Engineering and Business Programme [GEBP]
• JS6987 Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering [BEng(CE/EE/ElecE)];

demonstrate innovation and leadership skills, evident through past projects, inventions, or leadership roles in academic or extracurricular activities;
have outstanding performance in an interview, where commitment to the I&T sector shall be assessed;
have potential for social impact, assessed through the candidate's vision for using technology to improve society.
