International students who meet the qualifications for admittance into a Master’s degree program will be awarded up to USD $20,000 in Graduate Scholarship funding.

Scholarship funds of USD $5,000 will be awarded over four consecutive semesters to students who maintain good academic standing in their program. The award is available for up to five semesters (up to USD $25,000 total) to students pursuing a Master of Public Health degree.

Students must apply by one of the priority deadlines for either the Fall start term, or Spring, and pursue studies full-time on campus. These scholarships were created to help international students advance their knowledge and careers, and contribute to promoting science, technology, leadership and management at UMass Lowell.

The city of Lowell has one of the largest Cambodian populations in the U.S., and UMass Lowell is a designated Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution.

Academic Criteria: To receive the scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into your program of interest. No separate application is required.

Program of Study: You must be admitted into a Master’s degree program.

Location: You must pursue your degree full-time by taking classes on campus at UMass Lowell or at minimum, two on-campus and one online course each semester.
