University of South Alabama

Established in 1963, the University of South Alabama comprises a dynamic community of leaders and learners who support one another to be actively engaged citizens who advance the Gulf Coast region and the world. The university, which is home to almost 14,000 students enrolled in over 115 academic programs, aims to foster an environment that combines engaging learning experiences with high-level research, enabling faculty and students to be leaders in their disciplines. The university has implemented a strategic plan organized around five major priorities: Student Access and Success, Enhancement of Research and Graduate Education, Global Engagement, Excellence in Health Care, and University-Community Engagement.
