The Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) provides you with the knowledge and skills to use the latest technology to produce high-quality medical images that can assist medical specialists and practitioners to describe, diagnose, monitor and treat injury or illness.This course is for those looking to pursue a career in a wide range of health settings where you will use technologies to produce medical images to assist in accurate diagnosis and sound patient care.The Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) is an undergraduate coursework degree that will prepare you for professional practice as a diagnostic radiographer developing your skills in the use of the latest technology to produce high-quality medical images that can assist medical specialists to describe, diagnose, monitor and treat injury or illness. This program is accredited by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and is an approved program of study for general registration.Graduates of this program will be eligible to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. You will complete core and elective units according to a prescribed sequence of study over four years, including one elective in international health. You will also complete a series of clinical educational fieldwork/professional experience units throughout the course which you must pass in order to continue your studies.

To be eligible to apply for the Master of Pharmacy applicants will need to fulfill the following criteria:

A bachelor's degree from an Australian institution or equivalent

A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA), currently 5.0 over 7.0 (equivalent to 65% at USYD), or Graduate Australian Medical Admissions Test (GAMSAT), currently 55 with 50 in each section, or Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), currently 8 (previous test version) / 500 (new test version).

48 credit points, or equivalent, in six prerequisite subjects at university level)

Admission pathway: Course transfers from current Master of Pharmacy programs across Australia will be considered. Subject exemptions are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

International pharmacy graduates with registration from outside of Australia are accepted provided pharmacy registration has been within the last ten years. It is not a requirement to have a GPA, MCAT or GAMSAT for this application.

Applicants with relevant professional experience (eg pharmaceutical industry or related research area) within the last ten years will be considered on a case-by-case basis. It is not a requirement to have a GPA, MCAT or GAMSAT for this application.
