The Bachelor of Media and Communications (Honours) builds on the skills gained in the Bachelor of Media and Communications. It equips you with advanced disciplinary knowledge, media research capabilities, and critical thinking skills to work in various media sectors or pursue postgraduate research. Honours is for those aiming to launch a career as an academic or professional researcher. Bachelor of Media and Communications (or equivalent) including a major in the proposed honours subject area at the University of Sydney, or equivalent studies at another institution. have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70 or equivalent or a higher mark in the proposed honours subject area; and meet any other requirements for honours entry set by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
