With this industry-led degree, you can follow your curiosity into any field of science that inspires you.You will explore a range of science disciplines at the beginning of your degree, before specialising in the discipline you enjoy the most. You will get hands-on training in our science labs, as well as opportunities to apply your skills in the real world through industry placements and community science projects.

Current Year 12 students (2024)*

* Includes Victorian, interstate, International Baccalaureate (IB) and New Zealand school leavers.

To be considered for an undergraduate course, you need to meet Deakins entry and course-specific requirements, as well as the English language minimum prerequisites.

Non-Year 12 applicants with:

higher education study

Vocational Education and Training (VET) study

work and life experience Or

completed Year 12 in 2021 or earlier.

Completion of one of the following:

2 credit points in an AQF Level 7 bachelor degree

certificate IV or higher in a related discipline

a diploma or higher in any discipline

at least 50% completion of a diploma or higher in a related discipline relevant work and life experience.

English Language Requirements:
