Advance your career helping children grow and develop in the early childhood education and care industry with this qualification. You will learn how to supervise volunteers and other staff, design and implement curriculum that meets the requirements of the Early Years Learning Framework(opens in a new tab) for Australia and maintain compliance in other areas of service operations. Upon graduation you will find employment in centre-based care, family day care, pre-schools or kindergartens. During this course you will develop and utilise effective interpersonal and communication skills to establish relationships and work cooperatively with children, colleagues with families. You will gain the skills to establish and promote environments that facilitate children’s health and safety. You will acquire skills in how to design, implement and evaluate curriculums, including routines, transitions and environments that facilitate all children’s development, learning and wellbeing. In addition you will lead early childhood teams and oversee the implementation of compliant and ethical work practices. As part of this qualification you will undertake work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.
