The Diploma in Health Science (Health Studies) provides a guaranteed pathway into a range of undergraduate health science degrees at QUT*. Learn how to communicate and collaborate effectively in teams to address current public health challenges facing our community. Explore human rights issues and Indigenous health challenges to help you develop a culturally inclusive and ethical approach to health practice. Study the basic structures and functions of the human body, including the cardiovascular, muscular, digestive, nervous, and respiratory systems. Learn about the impact of poor nutrition on health outcomes and the importance of dietary assessment methods. Be introduced to the major sub-fields if psychology and learn how psychological perspectives can help you understand and address real world issues.
