The Graduate Certificate in Education is designed for qualified teachers and other educational professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in a specific area of education at an advanced level. Our postgraduate programs aim to meet the diverse needs of educators, with a strong focus on developing teacher skills to support students in all environments.
Offered within the Graduate Certificate in Education program, this specialisation focuses on the systemic design principles of education systems and their implications for the provision of education and outcomes. You will gain deeper insights into systemic design (with a particular focus on schools), education policy, the intersection of context and education provision and performance, and the monitoring of system level performance within the international education policy (e.g., Sustainable Development Goal 4) framework.

Students must meet the following selection requirements for entry to the Graduate Certificate of Education and the Master of Education:
A recognised Bachelor degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of Teaching); OR
A four year pre-service teacher education qualification, including professional experience, equivalent to the qualifications required for Graduate teacher status in NSW. An applicant who submits evidence of other equivalent academic and professional qualifications may be permitted to enrol in the degree.
