The program covers advertising, public relations, social media, human communication theory, relational communication, organisational communication and leadership, and research methods and data visualisation.You will experience opportunities to apply your knowledge to real projects. You will choose and conduct a research project, and guided by academic and industry professionals, complete a 20-week professional portfolio capstone subject.Bond’s Master of Communication (Professional) will take your skills to the next level, bring you up-to-date on the risks and opportunities of new and emerging media, and future-proof your career with the ability to adapt to work situations that have yet to be imagined. With Bond’s accelerated trimester timetable, you can complete the Master of Communication (Professional) in 92 weeks, meeting the Visa requirements for international students. The Master of Communication (Professional) is designed for international students who would like to enhance their expertise in the rapidly expanding field of professional communication. As a student in the program, you will gain applied skills and knowledge in leadership and management communication, public relations, branding, communication research, and the strategic use of communication technology. You will also conduct a research project of your own choosing and engage in a 20-week professional portfolio capstone of either 1) a work-integrated learning opportunity to participate in a field project and produce a report and showcase portfolio (eligibility criteria applies), or 2) undertake a supervised professional portfolio project. Throughout the program, you will develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in professional communication to equip you for roles in leadership and management communication, internal communication, branding, public relations, and communication research in private, public, and non-profit organisations.
