The Master of Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) is a two-year full-time year degree at UNSW’s leading engineering faculty. You’ll explore the study of electrical engineering where you’ll learn across a variety of engineering systems, including renewable energy and signal processing. This postgraduate degree is designed to take your knowledge of a specialisation from an undergraduate degree level to an advanced post graduate level. Armed with expertise, you'll be able to enter a new field or lay the foundations for a career in research and development. Upgrade your skills by focusing on your discipline of choice or opt for a multidisciplinary approach when choosing your electives. This program offers both disciplinary and advanced disciplinary knowledge, with a strong enquiry-based learning component for proactive learning.

Entry into this Master of Engineering Science specialisation depends on your cognate background.

Entry into the Masters program requires completion of a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent) or 3-year Engineering Science degree in a cognate discipline. A minimum 65% average, or its equivalent, throughout the qualifying bachelors degree is mandatory.*

The Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science/Master of Engineering Science pathway does not apply to this specialisation
