The Master of Finance is a one to two-year postgraduate program delivered by Australia’s #1 Business School (Australian Financial Review (AFR) Boss, 2024).
Developed in close consultation with the finance sector, this program exposes you to the latest thinking and research in finance.
With two entry points, students with a degree in a field other than finance can join the two-year program. Finance undergraduates who want to study advanced topics can choose the one-year option.

The Master of Finance has two entry points, which require varying qualifications. The entry requirements for the two pathways include:
Pathway 1 Two-year program
You will need:
A bachelors degree in any field with a credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator.
Pathway 2 One-year accelerated program
Youll need the following:
A recognised bachelors degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator; and
A major (at least seven courses) in finance within the bachelors degree.
