The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a modern, internationally recognised secondary school qualification designed to equip students with skills, knowledge and personal capabilities to successfully participate in a fast-paced global society. It is designed to meet the specific academic needs and interests of students, to develop and prepare them for their future career aspirations.

Stage 2 (Year 12) at a South Australian high school. To be successful, students need to achieve 200 credits, through a mixture of compulsory and elective subjects. Credit towards the SACE may be given to international students who have successfully completed Year 11 in their own country.
