Mechatronics tackles real-world problems with inventive multidisciplinary solutions and provides the critical link between the cyber and physical worlds through the convergence of mechanical, electrical, system control, and software engineering. Students learn in a supportive environment of small, close-knit class settings, and mandatory co-operative education work experience, where they apply theory into practice. Agritech concentration is recently added within the Mechatronic Systems Engineering program, offering students the opportunity to study the forefront of agricultural technology.The Mechatronic Systems Engineering program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences is offered at the Surrey campus.
