Our policy-focused Economics program will help you learn about choice, and the impact of choices, in business. From the decisions we make as individuals, families, governments or firms, the field of economics relates to every aspect of our lives and to every aspect of the business environment.
This degree pairs our Economics program with our highly ranked Finance program. You'll graduate with the skills needed to enter the investment banking or finance profession, and have the competitive career advantage of understanding the factors that influence income, wealth and well-being.
The Department of Economics, uniquely positioned alongside the Department of Business in the Lazaridis School and Business and Economics, allows you to combine your Economics degree with Finance in this direct-entry Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Financial Management program.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Internet-based testing (TOEFL iBT): an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component; Paper-based testing: 560 or higher.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - An academic score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL) - 70 overall or higher (each band 60 or higher).
