Physics is the most fundamental natural science. It examines basic concepts such as energy, force, and spacetime, and all that derives from these, such as mass, charge, matter and its motion. More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the world and universe behave.Physicists want to really understand how the world works and the applied physics degree focuses on developments that depend on that understanding. Students must have completed a recognized secondary (high school) credential in your country. International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) - English Language, English First Language, English Literature (other literature-based language courses will be considered). Mathematics (must be taken at AS/Adv. Level). Chemistry. 1 of either Biology or Physics. 1 elective from group 1 or 2 (a group 4 elective may be used for entrance to Computer Science only). Overall average of B or higher in the subjects above. International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) - English A: Language & Literature (other languages will be considered) Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (SL or HL) or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation HL. Chemistry. 1 of either Biology or Physics. 1 elective from group 1 or 2 (*a group 4 elective may be used for entrance to Computer Science only). Overall average of 4 or higher in the subjects above
