Why study Mathematics?
Mathematics and statistics play a fundamental role in our modern world and provide us with the tools for analyzing and solving problems in numerous fields. The Mathematics major in the BSc General Degree provides an overview of Mathematics and allows for customization and flexibility with courses and program direction.
Mathematics can also be taken as part of a BSc with Specialization or BSc with Honors degree.
Why take the BSc General degree?
The Bachelor of Science General degree offers a wide variety of majors and minors, allowing you to create a diversified degree based on your interests. Majors must be in Science, but minors can also be from courses offered by Arts; Business; or Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences. You can also take a double major in Science.

Students applying directly from high school.
Admission is based on complete academic history and achievement in three main areas: Grades, English proficiency, and completion of required subjects.
English language Requirement:
TOEFL: iBT: At least 90 with a minimum score of 21 points in each section
IELTS(Academic): At least 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
CanTEST(Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): At least 4.5, with no part lower than 4
PTE(Academic): At least 61, with no less than 60 in each communicative skill
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language assessment) Either CAEL (paper) or CAEL CE (computer): A score of at least 70, with no band less than 60
Duolingo English Test: 120 for English Language Proficiency, with no sub score below 100
