Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The Nutrition and Food Service Management Program provides educational opportunities for individuals who wish to pursue a career in food service management and attain membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM). The focus of this accredited diploma program is on the health care sector. Langara graduates are in demand both in BC and across Canada.The curriculum incorporates core food service courses in food service management, operations, and nutrition combined with academic studies in related disciplines. Students apply the concepts of food service management through a variety of practicum and fieldwork experiences. The program can be completed entirely online on a full-time or part-time basis. If preferred, the student can complete 50% of the program in the classroom.

Students must have a BC Grade 12 Graduation (or equivalent).

English Language Requirements

  • A minimum 70% in English First Peoples 12, English Studies 12, or Literary Studies 12;
  • Langara English Test (LET) with a score of 3;
  • An 'S' grade in ENGL 1107 or 1110; or a minimum 'C' grade in ENGL 1120;
  • A minimum 'C-' grade in an English (Post-Secondary Transfer) course;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an English-speaking country completed at a recognized institution where the language of instruction is English;
  • IB English A (HL or SL) or IB English Literature and Performance (SL) with a score of 3;
  • AP English Literature and Composition or AP English Language and Composition with a score of 2; or
  • A minimum 'C' grade in GCSE O-Level English, GCSE English Language B
