The region provides rare native grassland ecosystems, freshwater wetlands, lakes and rivers, and a rich diversity of forested ecosystems, all within easy access, as well as mountain and ocean ecosystems within a few hours drive.

Applicants must be graduates of a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent (in an appropriate discipline), from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.3 on a scale of 4.33, in the last 60 credits.
English language requirement:
A minimum TOEFL score of 570 with a TWE of 4.5 or higher (paper-based test, or minimum score of 88 with no section below 20 (IBT)
IELTS of at least 6.5 with no bands below 6.0
CAEL of at least 70 with no subtest below 60
MELAB of 81+
CanTest of 4.5+ with no component score below 4.0
completion of TRU ESAL Level 5
completion of TRU ENGL 1100 and CMNS1290 or equivalent
