Our three-year Business Administration - Accounting advanced diploma program is one of five business administration programs at Conestoga College. In this program, you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in an intermediate-level accounting position and the fundamentals required for advancement to managerial positions. We emphasize advanced financial accounting, managerial skills, cost-accounting systems and controls, computerized accounting, and income tax knowledge. You will learn computer skills in up-to-date labs, gaining familiarity with current versions of accounting software and other business software. Graduates of this program can apply computer, communication, and mathematical skills and employ management accounting techniques to support accounting activities, including maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements and individual and corporate tax returns.
