The film industry is thriving in Canada and there is a growing need for skilled workers in this dynamic and exciting field. Learn hands-on the art of filmmaking using the latest digital technologies. This program is geared for the industry of today, and will immerse you in all aspects of production including cinematography, screenwriting, editing, post production techniques, lighting and sound, and directing. You will gain a solid foundation in cinematic storytelling and graduate with the tools you need to enter this rapidly-changing and evolving field. Learning outcomes represent culminating demonstrations of learning and achievement. In addition, learning outcomes are interrelated and cannot be viewed in isolation of one another. As such, they should be viewed as a comprehensive whole. They describe performances that demonstrate that significant integrated learning by graduates of the program has been achieved. Work on real film sets and make three short films in your first year.
