You’ll learn about global advancements in the use of technology in electronic patient records, automated voice transcription, digital imaging concepts, ADT (admission-discharge-transfer) systems messaging and workflow. You’ll also develop valuable skills in data analysis and the creation of dashboards. Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to pursue acquiring the Certified in Health Information Management (CHIM) certification, from the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM).
