Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The BNurs curriculum reflects our multifaceted healthcare system, presenting a interprofessional view of patient care. During your studies you will be involved in clinical practice blocks and research based-clinical projects. These are designed to develop your critical thinking and practical knowledge. The topics range from mental health nursing and older persons' health, to child and family healthcare, Māori and Pacific health, medical and surgical nursing, management, and leadership in nursing. After successful completion of the BNurs, graduates may apply for registration as a comprehensive nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. After successful completion of the BNurs, graduates may apply for registration as a comprehensive nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Graduates of the BNurs will have an immediate advantage in the job market. Nursing offers a variety of different career settings, practice specialities and roles. We advise that the University of Auckland is not involved in the employment of graduates and can make no guarantee of post-qualification registration or employment in New Zealand or any other country.

Secondary school qualifications

You need to have one of the following:

International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum total score of 24.

General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level. You must have completed a minimum of three A-Level subjects.

Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). You must have completed a minimum of three A-level subjects.

GCE ‘A Level requirements apply to ‘A Level qualifications examined by bodies such as AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, CCEA and Pearson Education Limited taken outside of New Zealand
