As wellbeing and healthier living become more visible expectations of our society, so does the demand for those who can lead in the fields of sport, outdoor pursuits and recreation grows. Lincoln University’s Graduate Diploma in Recreation Management builds on your skills in critical thinking and academic competence with highly applicable skills in recreation management. These prepare you for a range of roles in the public, commercial and voluntary sectors covering parks, outdoor leadership, sport management, community recreation and tourism.
Programme Structure
The Graduate Diploma in Recreation Management normally requires one year of full-time study. You require 120 credits with a minimum of 75 credits at 300 level. The remaining credits, including no more than 15 at 100 level, may be chosen from the Schedule of Courses.
Electives must include 60 credits from the Schedule of Courses for the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management, or any other RECN-coded course at the 300 level.
