If you have completed your Mate Fishing Vessel - Unlimited qualification and have been working at sea, offshore, on a fishing vessel of 12m or more for at least 12 months, you can now return and complete this optional strand and progress your career. This programme contains all the training and supplementary certificates you will need for your COC, including STCW basic safety training, advanced firefighting, PISC and rescue boats, and GMDSS Radio Operator. This optional strand includes: Navigation and command control, Maritime Legislation, Fishing Vessel Management, Fishing Vessel Operations, Command Competency and Medical First Aid.
