**If you are curious about how the human body works - and what happens when it doesn’t, our extended Biomedicine course at the University of Greenwich is a great place to start.**

This four-year degree begins with a foundation year designed to build your confidence and skills in science, preparing you for success in the rest of the programme.

You’ll explore the causes of disease, how we diagnose illness, and the treatments that can make a difference. Taught by passionate experts in areas like cell biology, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, and immunology, the course blends theory with hands-on experience. You’ll work on clinical case studies, take part in lab-based modules, and carry out your own research project.

You’ll also hear directly from NHS professionals and have the chance to gain work experience with a wide range of organisations-from global companies and government bodies to NHS hospitals and specialist research labs.

By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready for a career in healthcare, research, or the pharmaceutical industry. Our graduates have gone on to work for the NHS, GSK, Dyson, Eon, and many more.
