Our course normally includes a residential field trip in each stage of the degree, taking you further afield in your second and third year to investigate other environments and cultures. Destinations have included Edinburgh, Belfast, the Isle of Skye, Malta and Slovenia. These are essential to your learning, so there is no additional cost to taking part.Choose your own direction, following your interests and developing your own specialist knowledge. Your practical and technical fieldwork skills will grow along with your theoretical understanding. We will support you to become independent researchers and professionals, designing and carrying out your own research, generating your own knowledge and forming your own conclusions.
