More recently sustainability has emerged as a commercial driver in the operation of business both large and small. Sustainability extends beyond merely environmental concerns, encompassing a much wider debate to include climate action, societal concerns, employment practices and supply chain management, among others. The sustainability debate has reached board room level and will shape legislative decisions deep into the 21st Century.The programme will provide a contemporary analysis of the law, covering legal issues relevant to Wales, the UK and globally, preparing students for a diverse range of career choices from Law, Business and Finance, Education and Public Policy. Students will have the opportunity to research, discuss and write on the impact of sustainability in the context of modern business.
