The MSc International Events Management was designed to meet the sector's demand for talented, capable practitioners and will prepare you for a successful career in events management at home or abroad. It enables you to develop your practical, strategic and conceptual understanding of the events sector within local, national and international contexts. As events are increasingly recognised as a tool for stimulating economic development, the industry is quickly professionalising and requires a growing number of graduates to form an educated, critically informed workforce. The MSc in International Events Management is designed to meet this demand by producing critically informed, operationally capable events practitioners. UWS's School of Business & Creative Industries is a full member of both the Association of Professional Conference Organisers and National Outdoor Events Association. These associations are concerned with developing and enhancing the professional status of conference and event organisers.
