Our LLB Law with Criminology degree will provide you with a strong foundation in the core areas of English law, combined with opportunities to develop critical understanding, practical skills and professional awareness. It also offers focused study of criminology and the criminal justice system, exploring theories of crime, the causes and consequences of criminal behaviour, and the social and policy contexts in which crime and justice are understood and addressed.In your third year, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your studies through a range of optional modules with a criminology and criminal justice focus. The programme is designed to prepare you for a wide range of future pathways, including the legal professions, other graduate careers and further academic study.You'll be combining academic theory and real-world legal practice through placements, mentoring, and opportunities to work with legal professionals. And you'll be building your experience, awareness and confidence in unique law facilities, from iconic 19th-century courtrooms to contemporary spaces purpose-built for 21st-century education.
