Sustainable Development - MSc

This course is designed to be accessible to people from different academic and professional backgrounds. You’ll develop broad-based, interdisciplinary social science skills needed for careers focused on sustainability transformations. The course is critical and constructive, drawing on ideas and concepts from: development studies science, technology and society studies innovation studies political science economics geography. You’ll learn to translate a variety of socio-ecological concepts, research methods and innovation narratives into effective policies, strategies and practices for sustainable development. These skills are valued by: governments and firms in the Global South and North international development agencies and consultancies social enterprises, not-for-profit and non-governmental organisations.
