Our internationally recognized research programs provide outstanding undergraduate and graduate training in theoretical, experimental, and applied art, design, and new media. Our programs are enhanced through the co-sponsorship of projects with area museums, internships, and other collaborations, giving graduates a distinctive point of view as they enter the professional world. Students completing a degree in studio arts are challenged to think in experimental and creative, yet disciplined and established ways. This program is designed for those aspiring to work in their field of interest as a professional or to enter graduate school upon completion of the degree. Area options are clay, drawing, cinematic arts, glass, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or visual communication design.
