New England College recognizes the IB curriculum as a challenging academic program that provides excellent preparation for university study. In most cases, credits are awarded for a minimum score of 5 on Standard Level (SL) exams and minimum score of 4 on Higher Level (HL). Additionally, students who earn an IB diploma in English can have their English Proficiency Score waived.A maximum of 30 credits may be awarded for IB. Applicants to New England Colleges Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs are required to submit a portfolio of 5–15 images of art and design work via SlideRoom. While you are welcome to submit your application without this initially, please note that a portfolio must be submitted before enrollment.
