Music Performance majors focus on their instrument or voice along with learning foundational music skills in theory and music history. Students have a multitude of performance opportunities as a soloist, chamber musician, and ensemble member throughout their education preparing them for future careers in the professional world. As a music performance major, the capstone of your college career will be your required senior recital. Held in the Ruth Lilly Performance Hall, your senior recital is your chance to showcase your growth as a musician, and it prepares you for being a professional performer. During your senior year, you will work with your private instructors to prepare a repertoire for your full-length senior recital.
