If you’re passionate about agriculture and want to work with students, this program will prepare you to teach grades 6–12 in both formal classrooms and informal educational settings. You’ll build a strong foundation in agricultural science while learning how to design lessons, manage learning environments, develop individual experiences for students and advise student leadership development. Your education goes beyond the classroom. You’ll engage in experiential learning by connecting with agricultural programs across the country, hosting and managing FFA events and participating in professional development activities that prepare you for the realities of today’s teaching profession. Graduates of this program are equipped not only to teach in schools but also to educate within local communities and informal learning environments, making an impact wherever agricultural knowledge is needed.
