UIC's engineering physics major allows students to develop a command of physics that makes them especially competitive in roles requiring an understanding of science and theory, such as research and development positions. After going over the basics of physics, the curriculum dives into quantum theory, waves, thermal physics, quantum and theoretical mechanics, experimental physics and other topics.
