Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IO Psychology) is the psychology of the workplace and employee behaviors. Learn how to hire and train effectively by applying evidence-based practices to organizational challenges. MTSU is one of only a few universities across the nation to offer this degree. The curriculum aligns with both the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) standards.

Students must have official high school or university transcripts and it must be mailed directly from your high school or university to MTSU. For guaranteed admission, applicants must have completed the recommended college preparatory courses and must present one of the following: GPA 3.0 OR.Minimum composite ACT score of 22 OR minimum SAT total score of 1100 (Evidence Based Reading, Writing and Math).If you do not meet either of the above requirements you will need: Minimum 2.7 GPA plus ACT score of 19 OR SAT score of 990 (Evidence-Based Reading or Writing and Math).
