Through hands-on projects with media companies, businesses, and community organizations, students in our Media Promotion and Management concentration study how media is managed, sold, and promoted by implementing evidence-based strategies, techniques, and tools that engage audiences. This concentration is ideal for students who enjoy working with media but don’t want to be part of the production process. You’ll take courses in audiences and analytics, exhibition and distribution, media client management, media promotion, media campaigns, and promotion writing. You’ll customize your major by choosing from directed electives in Business, Communication Studies, Marketing, Strategic Communication, Public Relations, and Event Planning.
