Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

By selecting the Special Education K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders - Secondary Major you will earn a Bachelor of Science that leads to a secondary education teaching certificate with the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) endorsement. You will also choose a teachable minor. You have knowledge of the theory of learning, from a neurological perspective, coupled with rigorous field experiences connecting theory to reality while studying elementary subjects. Upon graduation, students will be competent to assess, analyze assessment data and develop and implement individual education programs, based on a strong theoretical understanding of the nature of autism spectrum disorders. Certified teachers with the Michigan Department of Education endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) can teach children on the Autism Spectrum in K-12th grade classrooms.
