This is the third level in the adult education, English language learning sequence. Advanced English learners will enhance their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills essential for daily English communication. The focus on language, culture, and life skills will help students achieve personal, career, and/or academic goals. The program prepares students to further develop oral fluency, read and understand work-specific texts, and write varied paragraphs. It also prepares students for ESL academic credit courses.Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:Discuss varied topics related to school, family, and work with controlled fluidity and elevated fluency.Compose a descriptive/narrative/expository paragraph.Demonstrate comfortable fluency with question words and forms.
